Community Guidelines
Our rules help protect creativity and community. Breaking these rules may result in content removal, feature limits, or account suspension.
Acceptable Use
- Respect others. No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
- No illegal content or activity. Follow local laws while streaming and interacting.
- No sexual exploitation or sexual content involving minors. Age 18+ required to use PopCast.
- No violent or graphic content intended to shock or glorify harm.
- No spam, scams, or deceptive practices.
Streaming Restrictions
- Do not stream illegal activities, dangerous acts, or content that endangers people or animals.
- Respect privacy—do not stream private locations without permission.
- Recording or screenshotting creator streams without permission is prohibited. Technical protections may block screen recording and screenshots.
- Label and choose categories responsibly; avoid misleading titles and tags.
Moderation Rules
- Use the in‑app report tool for violations. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours.
- Repeated violations may lead to feature limits, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans.
- Creators may remove comments and block users from their streams.
DMCA & Copyright
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
- Only stream content you own or have permission to use.
- To file a copyright complaint, email admin@popcast.cc with: your contact info, a description of the work, links to infringing content, a good‑faith statement, and a signature.
- Counter‑notifications must include your contact info, a description of the removed content, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake, and consent to jurisdiction.
User Reporting
- Report via the flag icon and choose a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate content, impersonation, or other).
- Provide clear details to help us act quickly.
- For immediate danger, contact local authorities first.
Blocking
- Blocking prevents another user from seeing your content, following you, or interacting with your streams.
- Existing follows and Super Fan status between you are removed (no refunds).
